Map Colors
In this area you are able to select the colors which are displayed on the map in order to better identify the various game items. A restart or reconnect of the bot is sometimes necessary to make changes to color coding appear on the map.
Log Colors
You can change the color of various log event messages in order to make them stand out when they appear in the event log screen.
Auto Use Items
You can instruct the bot to automatically use the following items as they are received.
Misc
There are several miscellaneous global configurations for your bot you can enable here.
- Attack warning will allow you to receieve an audio (sound) alarm if your city becomes under attack.
- Show alliance war reports will allow you to have the bot monitor your alliance WR for defenses, and notify you via the log file.
- Always start scripts line 1 will reset the current script line to '1' automatically, rather than pick up where you left off.
- Test Mode allows you to enter a specific testing mode for the bot to perform in, as instructed by a developer for purposes of debugging. This should remain 0 unless a dev tells you otherwise.
Captcha
Enable Captcha Autosolve will allow you to instruct to bot to automatically attempt to solve captchas when they're received. The Autosolve Delay is the amount of time in seconds that you wish the captcha to remain visible on your bot's screen for you to manually solve, before it times out and is auto solved. This is helpful if you plan to be around to solve them, so that you can save a little money with decaptcher.
You will need to get your "Shared Secret Key" from your user control panel on the YAEB forums here: [1]. You must enter your decaptcher.com account info in that same place.
Binary
Users of the binary (exe) builds of Y.A.E.B. will be able to configure some additional global settings here.
- Balloon Warning will show a small popup in the system tray when the bot is minimized there, if it becomes under attack. The bot's icon will also flash red in the system tray. NOTE - this balloon warning does not work on the browser-based version of the bot.
- Custom Audio Warning allows you to change what the bot "says" when you become under attack. You can use the following variables to customize it:
%alliance% = attackers alliance
Would say outloud: Deadly Silent is attacking you with 2 waves at your city "boom" from alliance "killyou" on server SS54
%title% = window title (Windows only, else it just says YAEB)
%server% = the server
%lord% = lord name of the attacker
%target% = targeted city
%waves% = # of incoming waves
For example: %lord% is attacking you with %waves% at your city %target% from alliance %alliance% on server %server%
- Attack Focus will give the bot's window focus on the start of attacks if it is open but is in the background of other windows. If additional waves are incoming the window will not pop back up if you sent it to the back, unless all waves have stopped and a new round of attacks is started.
